The Adventure Box

A silent story about a how a child’s imagination and playfulness can be found in the most unlikely of places.

This vibrant, playful book is bursting at the seams with colour and texture, describing the vivid imaginations of a young child with a carboard box. When a shiny new computer chair comes along, our child feels upset and dejected from the lack of parental attention. To combat this, our protagonist climbs into the box and begins to imagine all the forms this carboard box could be. She uses the carboard box to....

Fly to the moon...
Sail the high seas...

and

Fight a dragon!

Her parents finally notice, and find themselves discovering all the ways they can enjoy the carboard box together. They use the carboard box to...

Land on the moon...
Discover a new island...

and

Slay a dragon!

Though our protagonist thoroughly enjoyed her solo adventure, she achieves through parental support and familial connection ending with a big loving hug from her parents.
